Bio

I grew up with southern and central California ranging from locations from countryside towns to small cities such as Oceanside, Vista, Rancho Bernardo, King City, Soledad and San Juan Bautista giving me a love for nature and wildlife.

I was first inspired to create art through Japanese animation and art such as character designs and landscapes. I have also been inspired by artists who work with professional animation or video game companies as well as artists who work at events such as comic conventions.

I am currently studying as a junior majoring in Visual and Public Art at CSU Monterey Bay.

Artist Statement

My art mediums include graphite pencils, colored pencils, ink, acrylic paint and digital photography. I wish to share my story and experiences through my art.

I want my artwork to inspire, encourage, and challenge others to put their thoughts, ideas, emotions and creativity to use. It doesn't have to take the form of art so someone's work could take the form of writing, music, animation or any other possible form of one's creativity. If even the most basic of my works from my simple black and white sketches and poetry to my detailed fully colored paintings and photography can inspire someone then I am happy.
